    I'm not sure what you are so afraid. If my hair was that long I would definitely be having a bad hair day, lol. It's hair. It grows back :-)

    And, of course, I think you should get a crewcut. Calling your hair a 'safety blanket' is a signal that you want it cut off. If you want it cut off, cut it all off. My most memorable haircuts have been on impulse. I was going to buzz my hair myself tonight but didn't. We'll see if I make it to work with any hair tomorrow. Maybe I can pay some girl at the grocery store $20 to go in the barbershop with me and make them give me a buzzcut, like it's her idea. $20 because I've made up my mind but I'm afraid I'll back out if someone else isn't there.
