Well, I am not a professional. I am a redhead myself, but I go to the salon. My original hair color is very light brown, so a semi-permanent hair dye (a mix of tonalizer and an orange pigment by Wella) do a good job on my hair every month. My stylist has told me that black hair needs a chemical procedure first to remove all black pigment, then red dye is applied thoroughly to hair. Every month the new black roots will need the treatment again.
my hair is recently black and i want it red and i tryed two times too get it red and still black what do i do to make it red?
