Feeling vulnerable: nape clippering in May.

Before

After.
Not to mention I got exposed ears yesterday. OMG... I was really nervous, and loving every second of it. The stylist took ages to consider the cut done, almost all clippering was done with dry hair.
Any opinions? Since this happened I have been feeling very self counscious.

  1. Harriet,

This is the best-looking cut that you've shown us. It really looks great, including the exposed ears! The color is outstanding, too.

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. Seconded. I see only a very feminine neck, healthy, youthful skin, and a hair style that elegantly accompanies both. None of these things should be a source of self-consciousness, unless it takes the form of radiant confidence.

How was the picture taken? Did you ask the stylist to take the snap?

    1. Really kind words of yours!!!! The before pic I took myself with my mobile phone camera and flashlight. The after pic was my stylist's assistant, she noticed I was trying to use the mobile to register the look and offered to photograph it for me, I accepted it immediately and we got it. She didn't ask and I gave no explanations.

  4. What a great haircut! The best cuts take a long time to achieve perfection and your stylist did just that. Once you get used to the different "feel" of the cut you should only feel good about how it looks. It is very short but still quite feminine, love it.

    1. Thanks a lot, I already adore the tactile sensation, it's an immediate extremely pleasurable sensation, although I am kind of uncomfortable with the nfact that most of my friends and acquaintances consider I have already gone too far with a short style, LOL.

  7. The shorter you cut your hair, the better you look! Don't you agree, short haired girl? Half the fun of cutting it short is knowing you'll be walking around with a short haircut. I hope you continue to shock your friends and acquaintances—it's such a wonderful/uncomfortable feeling to go out in the world your new short haircut. And I love how you keep cutting your hair shorter, short haired girl. You look amazing.
