A nape searching for a barber and his clippers...

I hope the stylist understood you weren't ready for a bowl cut this time, even though that's the cut you want, eventually. But did you ask him how he would cut it, if he were to clipper the sides short like your nape, and how short your bangs would have to be? Just so you'd know what to expect, because you've been trying to get up the courage for a bowl cut for the longest time... Sometimes you think you'll never get up the nerve unless it just happens on the spur of the moment.
