A short style for a thin and fine hair.
Fortunately I understand Spanish. The narrator generously shares her technical skills, explaining the cut step by step.

What do you like the most?
Some people get attracted by certain aspects of a "hair related context", which may not call another person's attention. For example, I know some people who are cape lovers and collect them, others are in love with clippers, shaving brushes may be someone else's focus. Here is some food for your thoughts. Can you estimate the importance of clippers, capes, shampoos, razors, brushes, combs, scissors, barber chairs, neck strips, towels, hair spray, curlers, hair driers and other objects not listed here for you? Do you have favorite brands or colors or especifications for your items? Make us happy and let us know posting your comment.

Two other Italian haircuts
I kind of know what is going on to make me post sucessive haircuts from Italyt: they are great AND the hairdresser is handsome. It must be this combination of events what explains my fixation on Italian hairstyling in my recent posts, LOL.
Well, the first video has a very uncommon soundtrack for a razor cut: Miriam Makeba singing the old hit Pata Pata!
And the second one is a long hair scissored over comb and then sliced with scissors till its much shorter. The soundtrack is more mainstream. I would give a dime to know what the model was saying. She seems to be enjoying the change of look!
This is the link for the second cut. I dunno why I couldn't show it directly here.

Hope you enjoy them.

Parla Italiano? (Do you speak Italian?)
When short goes shorter
Another short cut
A stylist's narrative about his life and hair passion
Serge, owner of Folks salon in Moscow, tells a little about his road to feminine hair styling. It's worth a visit to his site, which shows samples of his great art:

Interesting elements of a clippercutting experience
First, the dialog between barber and cameraman (the so happy husband): is this what she wants? This is what I want!!!
Second, she seems happy and relaxed as her husband decides how her nape is gonna look like.
Third, the barber is really careful and is seriously commited to shape her nape in a very feminine style (he explains that to the couple).
The last, but not the least, it looks delicate, modern and adorably tidy.
Feedback is always welcome.

Random thoughts about passion for hair
Forced haircut scenes in videos or role-playings (not forced cuts for real, which definitively are not acceptable under any circumstance) are a controversial issue among members of our community. Some people say they are a turn on, enhancing the experience of giving or receiving a haircut, while others consider them repulsive, unatractive or ridiculous.
In my personal perspective, forced scenes are potentially interesting, but there must be a precise mutual consent between two adults who choose to play the game. In case partners feel inclined to be forceful, using authority, physical force or restraints (as handcuffs, silk ties or velcro straps), they should, in advance, state their wishes and limits, establishing a word for safety purposes, for the case one regrets and wants to interrupt the scene. I also feel this is an activity to be played by people who trust and know each other pretty well. Well, this is my perspective upon the subject of (fake) forced haircuts and barberchair bondage. What is yours? Please, let us know, leaving a comment here.

My favorite pics on Flickr
Favoritos de scissors_fan no Flickr.
This is the link to my favorite Flickr's pics. If you click in one of them or on the the link you get full access to the whole selection (a total of 68 images) I made; here they just show part of the collection. Some are hairstyles I would like for myself and may still have in the future, others are just interesting because of the feelings they elicit or the ideas they evoke on me.Posted by Harriet.

Good bye, ponytail. Hello, much shorter hair
http://www.vimeo.com/27216119
This is a link many of you should give yourselves a chance. Twelve inches of hair are cut and this is the start of a gorgeous bob. An interesting thing was the fact that the video was posted by the husband of the lady whose look was about to change. The video was conceived artistically, I appreciate the editing, soundtrack, everything else. Hope you enjoy it too.

Two haircuts and about a decade between them
I suggest you watch these two videos and compare the final results. It would be great if you commented on the cuts. Being straightforward, I am not a fan of the second haircut, although the styles are kind of similar.

The state of the art.
Modern, daring, sexy for young women. Getting pink tones is not for everyone, and Theo knows that. Enjoy the awsome nape buzzing! Posted by Harriet.
